Letters from Ash

Hi friends!

Ashley here. I’m pretty new to blogging, so y’all please bear with me. My mom asked if I wanted to share my thoughts on some tough topics we encounter as girls. My mom is awesome, but sometimes I want to talk with my friends. That’s what I hope you find here. A friend!

My hope is for this to be a place where tween and teen girls can come (with their mom’s permission, of course) to listen and share with other girls who are trying to find their way through some of this tough stuff like beauty, friendship, fitting in (or not), being yourself (or not), and all the other things that come along with being a tween or teen girl today.

This is place where I am going to share some of my personal experiences and hopefully encourage other girls they are not alone. It is also a place where I hope we can grow closer in our relationship with God.

Sometimes, when things aren’t going the way you planned or Satan is just in your space, it can be hard to turn to God and say, “ I trust you, and I know that you will take care of this.” In those moments, we may feel like the world is against us and there is nobody we can talk to. This is not true; there are girls (and moms, too) who have experienced exactly what you are feeling. You may not want to talk to your mom about these problems either, but I encourage you to try. There is no one who loves you more or cares more deeply about you that can help you through these rough patches of life.

We’ll kick things off in a few weeks, but for now, I just wanted to say hi and introduce myself. I am looking forward to getting to know each of you!

See you soon!

~Ash
